Purpose of Note It column in Axapta CRM ?

Can anyone please explain to me the purpose of the Note It column in the
Business Relation form in the CRM module? I can't understand how it should be
used.

The 'Note It' column that leads to the form  in Business Relations is used for writing messages about a specific business relationship. If marked as active, a marker
will become visible on the form itself (Low=White hand, Normal=Green hand,
High=Red hand) flagging that there is important information regarding this
business relationship.

Information in this column/form can also be sent to some one via email or other means if action needs to be taken on a priority basis.
